In this choice-based class, documentation of process and growth is very important. You, the artist, will take photos of your work in progress, as well as your finished pieces, then share them with others online. You will reflect on the process of creating your work as well as the meaning behind the pieces you create.
How will you do this? I encourage you to use Weebly as this allows you to do a professional-looking website. If you have another online format that you prefer, talk to Mrs. Taborda to discuss options. |

When writing your process blog, choose at least one Studio Habit of Mind to discuss. Explain how you demonstrated the habit(s) in your work using art vocabulary and complete sentences. You may use the questions and/or sentence starters on the SHoM page as a guide when writing your blog posts.
Your blog posts are a means to documenting your artistic process so be sure to include multiple, well-composed images of your work, both in-process and complete. You should also include inspiration images, exploration exercises, and thumbnail sketches when that makes sense.

Portfolio Post Requirements
When you finish a piece, you will write (or record) an artist statement. This artist statement will be posted to your blog along with an excellent photo of your piece. You will also create a separate page on your Weebly for your best works.
