Documentation
Documenting the artistic process is an important part of being an artist.
In this choice-based class, documentation of process and growth is very important.
You, the artist, will take photos of your work in progress, as well as your finished pieces, then share them with others online.
You will reflect on the process of creating your work as well as the meaning behind the pieces you create.

Reflection and Presentation
You will be asked to reflect regularly on your artistic process using the Studio Habits of Mind. Be prepared to explain how you demonstrated the habit(s) in your work using art vocabulary and complete sentences. You may use the questions and/or sentence starters on the SHoM page as a guide when completing reflections.
When you finish a piece, you will write an artist statement that helps the viewer understand the background or significance of the piece. This artist statement will be posted to your Google Album along with an excellent photo of your piece.
